Further to the EBA update issued on 9 March 2022, ANMF is pleased to advise the last stages of finalising the public sector mental health agreement are progressing:
The final draft has been provided today to the Victorian Government for approval. Whilst government initially advised it would take a period of up to two weeks for this to occur, ANMF has requested that approval is expedited.
What happens next?
When the 7-day access period and subsequent ballot dates are confirmed ANMF will provide a comprehensive update, including frequently asked questions, to all members prior to the proposed enterprise bargaining agreement going to a vote of all public sector mental health employees covered by the agreement.
ANMF will also hold virtual members’ meetings during the access period (when confirmed) to discuss the proposed agreement and give members opportunities to ask any remaining questions.
