Recent anti-trans events in Melbourne and across the country were unacceptable. It was chilling, almost 80 years since the end of World War II, to see Nazis supporting these events and salute on the steps of Victoria’s Parliament House.
ANMF (Vic Branch) stands with our trans members, our patients, clients and residents and all members of the trans community. We stand with you in solidarity against the display of intimidation and fear that took over our city streets on Saturday 18 March.
We will not leave all the fighting for acceptance up to you alone.
ANMF members are encouraged to join the Victorian Pride Lobby’s Trans Day of Visibility rally at 5.30pm, Friday 31 March outside the State Library of Victoria. This rally is supported by the Victorian Trades Hall Pride Network.
