Understandably many members working in the private acute sector have contacted us about the 9 June announcement by Premier Daniel Andrews of a $3,000 payment for public health employees working between July and September this year.
The State Government, for all intents and purposes, is the employer of public sector nurses and midwives, and therefore makes the payment in that capacity.
ANMF has written to your employer on 9 June 2022 seeking that they provide a comparable payment to you.
When we receive a response, we will notify members.
