ANMF (Vic Branch) members at Correct Care Australasia have had their long service leave accrual adjusted in accordance with their current enterprise agreement.
In 2018, members at Ararat’s Hopkins Correctional Centre notified ANMF that their employer had advised that the significant improvements to long service leave entitlements (gained in the 2017 enterprise agreement), did not apply prior to the agreement’s certification date.
A lengthy dispute between ANMF and the prison has finally been resolved, resulting in weeks or months of long-service leave being restored to eligible long-standing employees.
All Correct Care Australasia members are encouraged to check their payslips to ensure they reflect the correct long service leave accrual.
