Last year’s Hannah Sellers Job Rep of the Year was South West Healthcare nurse practitioner Terry Swanson, an ANMF member for 30 years and former ANMF (Vic Branch) Council member and Vice-President.
Ms Swanson’s dedication as a Job Rep included leading delegations to local politicians, encouraging colleagues to stand up for their rights and being a voice for her workmates.
The 2018 HSR of the Year Award went to Sara Jorgensen and Sally Collier-Clark from Bendigo Health, for their advocacy which led to increased staffing levels above the Safe Patient Care Act in the women’s ward on night duty.
Who will join the ranks of award-winning ANMF Job Reps and HSRs in 2019? Do you know of a Job Rep or HSR who deserves recognition for their outstanding achievement and commitment to the ANMF and members in the workplace? Who are the Reps who go above and beyond in advocating for your rights at work or making your workplace a safer place to be?
Nominate them for the 2019 Hannah Sellers Job Rep of the Year or HSR of the Year awards by 5pm Friday 31 May. Award winners receive $1000.
