Both the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Agreement 2024-28 (public sector agreement) and the Victorian Public Mental Health Service Enterprise Agreement 2024-28 (mental health agreement) provide paid professional development. Some private hospital and some private aged care enterprise agreements also provide paid professional development leave.
