Staff changes at ANMF (Vic Branch): September 2022

There have been a few new staff appointments at ANMF (Vic Branch) over the past couple of months.

Most recently, we were pleased to welcome Robyn Green and Sophie Connor, who both commenced on Monday 5 September 2022. Sophie joins us in the role of communications and media designer, and Robyn as an industrial relations organiser.

Robyn is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in a variety of public and private sector clinical settings, including emergency department, intensive care, coronary care and theatre. She has most recently worked as a clinical nurse educator in Emergency at Knox Private Hospital.

Also joining us as an industrial relations organiser is Michelle Atherton, who started in that capacity on Monday 22 August 2022. Michelle comes to the Branch from Monash Health – Hospital in the Home, having been a registered nurse there from 2003 to present.

Michelle is initially backfilling industrial relations organiser Toni Coughlin’s extended leave in September and will later replace Nicole Brown. Nicole, meanwhile, is moving into a new role as a Job Rep training officer.

Speaking of extended leave, Wangaratta-based industrial relations organiser Alison Kairns will commence hers on 19 September, before ultimately retiring. Sally Higgs will move back into being the Wangaratta and surrounding region’s organiser, and Kim Pentreath will return to being the Horsham region’s industrial relations organiser.

Meanwhile, Margie Thomas will be moving into relieving industrial organiser Mike Stone’s area from 26 September 2022. Announcements will be made shortly regarding the areas our new organisers will be working in on behalf of members.

The Branch also recently welcomed industrial professional assistants Sushil Kaur and Yolandé Joubert.

Finally, Branch OHS Officer Harriet Stewart is now Harriet Williams, following her recent wedding.
