Staff changes at ANMF: March 2023

There have been several staff changes at ANMF (Vic Branch) since we last updated members in September 2022.

Mental health nursing officer Jade Chandler has gone on parental leave. Covering Jade while she is away will be Jacinta Crofton. Jacinta is an experienced mental health nurse who joins us from the Mercy Health crisis assessment and treatment team. Jacinta has been an ANMF Job Representative since 2003 and an active member of the ANMF Royal Commission Working Group since its inception.

Industrial officer Monique Segan has also commenced parental leave. Her position is being backfilled by Alexandra Rossi.

Meanwhile, membership services officer Stacie Ogilvie returns from parental leave this month.

In January, Rhyannon Lyons joined the Job Rep training team in a permanent, part-time position. Job Reps may get the chance to meet Rhyannon if they attend seminars over the next month or so.

Rhyannon has previously been covering parental leave for the recruitment and marketing team’s Casey Wren. Casey is now back on deck and is joined by Jacqueline Lodge, who is taking on her second parental leave backfill role in the team, meaning she’ll still be with us until the end of this year. If you’ve attended any events at which ANMF have had a stall recently, you may have met Jacqueline, a peri-operative nurse.

Members who have contacted member assistance over the past 12 years may have been assisted and supported by Virginia McCracken. In mid-February, Virginia retired from the Branch, and we are very sorry to see her leave but excited for the next chapter in her life. We wish her all the best.

Kelly Arnott Somerville will soon be joining the member assistance team once her current Organiser role has been recruited to.

To help manage all these comings and goings, Jo Cavka has joined our human resources team. Jo takes over from Caroline Novak, who recently resigned and has moved to regional Victoria with her family.
