Provide your feedback on mental health reform

Consultation for the Andrews Labor Government’s draft Mental Health and Wellbeing Outcomes and Performance Framework is now open. All mental health stakeholders – consumers, families, carers, supporters and healthcare professionals – are invited to provide their input as part of a survey on the reformed mental health system.

Delivering on a key recommendation of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System, the performance framework ensures transparency and accountability. The survey aims to uncover the strengths of the draft framework, identify what’s missing and provide a vision of what the new system will look like, and to ultimately analyse whether the reforms are helping Victorians receive the help and support they need.

The Government has invested record amounts in Victoria’s mental health and wellbeing system since the Royal Commission’s final report was released and it’s important that this funding is delivering the world-class system that all Victorians deserve.

The Engage Victoria consultation is available at engage.vic.gov.au/MHW-outcomes-and-performance-framework and closes on 25 September.
