Autumn and winter are the perfect time to visit Victoria’s alpine country. Whether you’re looking at a scenic hiking trip, a cycling adventure or a skiing getaway, or just a relaxing foodies’ retreat, Viewhill Holiday Units are ideally situated in Bright – one of the state’s most loved tourist destinations.
The units, which are available to ANMF members at up to 50 per cent off market rates, are tucked away behind 100-year-old oaks and elms in the beautiful tree-lined Delany Avenue, surrounded by an acre of stunning gardens.
The two-storey main house, which can sleep up to eight people, has recently been refurbished with a beautifully appointed ultramodern kitchen featuring luxury Smeg appliances, a stunning dining area, two separate living areas and a private outside BBQ area. It also features a home office, smart TVs and free wif-fi, and secure bike storage and on-site car parking.
Perfect for families or groups, the main house is available to book now.
Stage 2 Bright refurbishments
Stage 2 of the Viewhill makeover will see the smaller units behind the main residence (units 4 to 7) refurbished with upgraded kitchens and bathrooms, and refreshed bedrooms – there will be individually coloured front doors and French doors off each bedroom to the private courtyards.
Work on units 4 to 7 is likely to commence in the first half of 2024, with a completion date to be determined.
Where else can you stay?
As part of our accommodation benefit, members can also choose from 15 rooms at the modern and inviting Ocean Grove Chalet on the Bellarine Peninsula, or experience the award-winning sustainability of ANMF House during a city break – both at up to 50 per cent off market rates.
Ocean Grove Chalet
Ocean Grove Chalet boasts beautiful views of the ocean from the penthouses, and is perfectly situated just a short walk from the main shops and cafe stretch, and possibly the best beach in Victoria.
It’s the perfect location from which to enjoy a Great Ocean Road day trip, popular golf courses, ocean or river fishing, surfing, local wineries, neighbouring historical coastal towns and Victoria’s largest water theme park.
ANMF House
Located just metres from Queen Victoria Market on the fringe of Melbourne’s CBD, ANMF House won an award for sustainability in the 2023 Victorian Architecture Awards. It offers supremely comfortable and convenient apartment-style units and beautifully appointed hotel rooms above the stunningly renovated Central Club Hotel, which serves elevated market-to-table pub grub and also features a cosy downstairs whiskey bar.
For members attending conferences, training and education at 535 Elizabeth Street, there are a limited number of rooms at ANMF House available for one-night (up to 20% off the market rate) and two-night (up to 30% off the market rate) stays.
