The 2023 delegates conference is happening on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 June at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Registrations are now being taken, via the delegates portal.
Note that the deadline for conference registrations is now 5pm Monday 15 May. Late registrations will not be able to be accepted.
ANMF Jobs Reps and Health & Safety Reps are encouraged to register for the conference and to meet with their colleagues ASAP to identify important issues and ideas to become motions submitted on behalf of their workplace for debate. This year the draft log of claims for the 2024 public sector EBA will be discussed with Delegates.
The deadline for submitting your motions has not changed, and remains 5pm Friday 21 April. Motions can be submitted once you have logged into the delegates portal with your member details and registered for the conference.
Rep of the Year awards
Delegates can also nominate an outstanding Job Rep for the Hannah Sellars Job Rep of the Year award, and an outstanding Health & Safety Rep for the HSR of the Year award. The deadline for award nominations is 5pm Friday 26 May. The winners will be announced at the conference.
Save the date: ANMF national delegates conference
Mark it in your calendars now: the dates for the national ANMF delegates conference are Thursday 12 and Friday 13 October 2023. The national conference is held every two years, and in 2023 it will be a face-to-face event in Sydney.
For those Delegates who attend our Vic Branch Delegates Conference and are considering and available to represent ANMF Victorian Branch at the national conference, you will have the opportunity to seek election by Delegates prior to the Victorian conference.
Further correspondence will be sent to all Victorian Branch Delegate attendees about this, as it is our intention to conduct the ballot prior to 22 June and announce the result on 23 June at our conference.
