Public sector mental health campaign update #15: ANMF remains in discussions with Victorian Government about timing of wage increases

Public sector mental health campaign update #15: ANMF remains in discussions with Victorian Government about timing of wage increases

As advised in EBA update #14, following the statewide members meeting on 28 March ANMF has been holding discussions in relation to the timing of the proposed wage increases, particularly in relation to the RPN2 rates.

Responding to member feedback, ANMF has proposed a counter wage schedule for the Victorian Government and Department of Health’s consideration. ANMF’s discussions with senior government and department of health representatives are positive and ongoing.

Next steps

When the wage schedule is finalised, ANMF will schedule workplace visits and an information session to explain any changes and answer questions in relation to the member-endorsed offer.

ANMF will ensure all mental health members have materials explaining the wage schedule in detail, in addition to a summary of other key wins contained in the offer.

ANMF will provide members with information and registration details for the EBA information session as soon as possible.
