ANMF (Vic Branch) has now received a further public mental health government offer that replicates the ANMF’s already agreed in-principle offer, including the improvements to the in-principle offer provided on 06 June 2025.
This includes the 47 parity claims and 83 agreement improvements as outlined in the June 2025 member-endorsed in-principle agreement plus three updates for a health professional gender undervaluation award review facilitative clause, lived and living experience workers updated wage and classification structure and health professional retention payment.
The Fair Work Commission has recommended that this offer be accepted. ANMF members have already accepted the in-principle offer and HACSU have now advised that the in-principle offer has been accepted by their membership.
Next steps
Drafting will continue and ANMF will be seeking an expedited process to finalise drafting of this Agreement, with additional meetings to be scheduled to complete this process.
Once drafting is complete, the full draft agreement will go to a formal ballot of all mental health workers, including mental health nurses, employed under the Victorian Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement.
The formal ballot process is organised by the employer.
ANMF will continue holding regular monthly statewide mental health delegate meetings online and will update members with further details when available.
