ANMF (Vic Branch) has launched its new Education Portal with more than 100 new online continuing professional development (CPD) modules covering a wide range of clinical and patient, resident and client care topics suitable for nurses, midwives and personal care workers.
Members are able to access these new modules with their annual $400 CPD online module credit* member benefit.
The new courses are grouped into categories including:
- aged care
- alcohol and other substance abuse
- cancer nursing
- clinical practice
- community and primary healthcare
- diabetes
- diversity and cultural safety
- environment and sustainability
- family violence
- infectious diseases
- medications
- mental health
- midwifery, maternal and child health
- occupational health and safety
- professionalism and the law.
Many of the Branch’s pre-existing CPD modules will continue to be available, including those in the above categories as well as in additional categories including diabetes and environment and sustainability.
The Education Portal replaces the Branch’s previous CPD Portal, which was launched in 2014 to assist members to meet their continuing professional development obligations for their annual AHPRA registration renewal.
The new Education Portal should also provide better online learning functionality for students undertaking the ANMF (Vic Branch) Education Centre’s blended and online accredited courses (RTO 226909) and facilitated seminars and webinars.
As previously communicated to members, your existing CPD Portal ePortfolio record has been preserved and securely transferred to the new site. This includes a list of your completed modules and data you manually entered into the CPD Portal ePortfolio. It does not include, however, certificates for online modules you have completed.

$400* CPD online module credit renewed for all members
With the launch of the Education Portal, all eligible* members receive a renewed $400 online credit to access online modules. Credit is usually renewed every June, so this means all members can access the new modules even if you have spent your annual credit already.
