As a result of member feedback around the length and difficulty of completing the online occupational violence and aggression (OVA) notification form, ANMF (Vic Branch) has reviewed and updated the form and the process.
Now, when you are involved in or witness OVA, to report it to the Branch you can do so via the Member Portal, where your details will be automatically completed – so you don’t have to do this manually – and you will be able to provide a summary of the incident, without the extensive responses required.
Upon receipt of this notification, ANMF staff will be in contact with you within two business days to discuss and follow up.
You can still use the link on the ANMF Diary App, or via the tile on the home page of the website, and these will take you to the new form (although you will need to log in with your member details to complete it).
We encourage you to continue to report all incidents of OVA to your workplace (as an OHS and a clinical incident) and to ANMF so that we are able to hold employers accountable for implementing appropriate OVA prevention programs to reduce the exposure of our members to this unacceptable health and safety issue.
To report an incident, log into the member portal.
