Every year the ANMF (Vic Branch) recognises the extraordinary work that our Job Reps and Health & Safety Representatives (HSRs) carry out in their workplaces.
You can nominate an outstanding ANMF Job Rep and/or HSR for the respective 2026 Hannah Sellars Job Rep of the Year award or the 2026 HSR of the Year award.
Recipients will be announced at the annual Delegates Conference, which will take place in Melbourne on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 June.
In addition to formal recognition and a certificate of acknowledgement, the recipients will also be awarded $1500 each.
Nominations for ANMF Job Rep and/or HSR of the year are due by 5pm Friday 22 May.

Delegates Conference registration and motion submissions
As it has in previous years, the 2026 Delegates Conference will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Registrations will open soon via the Delegates Portal: delegates.anmfvic.asn.au.
Demand for the conference has outpaced venue capacity the past few years. To ensure the conference remains representative and accessible to ANMF delegates across the state – and consistent with feedback from the ANMF delegate survey in late 2025 – there may be limitations to workplace numbers to ensure equitable access to as many workplaces as possible. Places may therefore not be able to be guaranteed; this will be subject to Branch Council review.
In the meantime, all Jobs Reps and HSRs are encouraged to begin discussing with your colleagues the issues and ideas to be submitted as motions for debate at the conference. Motions – including for the 2028 public sector EBA – can be submitted once you have registered for the conference.
