We’re excited to roll out our new Delegates Portal, which is exclusively accessible to Job Reps.
It is where you will now register for all Job Rep training programs.
As it’s still quite new, please bear with us as we fine-tune it to ensure it is as intuitive an experience as possible.
You must log into the portal with your member number and password to be able to view and register for events. If you have any concerns with your log-in details or password, please contact membership@anmfvic.asn.au. If you have any other queries, please contact the Job Rep training team via jrt@anmfvic.asn.au.
Unless indicated otherwise, all programs below are intended to be run face to face but should COVID-19 restrictions change, they may revert to online delivery.
Upcoming Job Rep training
Job Rep Foundations
Our Foundations program aims to provide Job Reps with the essential tools and knowledge to perform their role. The program comprises an online module and a one-day training program.
Job Reps will learn about the structure and functions of ANMF (Vic Branch), the role and history of unions, and the fundamentals of the ANMF Job Rep role.
Participants will receive a variety of information, materials and resources to set in motion ANMF activity in their own workplace.
Register if you are a new Job Rep. This course is also recommended as a refresher for experienced Job Reps if you haven’t attended training for three or more years.

Keeping it Organised
The aim of this two-day program is to focus on developing skills and strategies in progressing and resolving collective issues. We recommend a minimum of two Job Reps attend from any one workplace, and ask that you discuss and reach agreement about who will attend with other Job Rep colleagues. This is to help communicate program outcomes when you return to your workplace.
The metro program is delivered across two standalone days, scheduled roughly four to eight weeks apart.
Regional programs are delivered across two consecutive days. Regional Job Reps who are unable to attend a face-to-face program also have access to online programs.
The program covers the following topics:
- Membership and mapping the workplace
- Problem solving
- Communications
- Recruitment
- Enterprise bargaining process
- Workplace planning.
