Job Rep training for the rest of 2022

A Job Rep attending training

Despite the recent COVID wave, Job Rep training programs continue to be delivered face to face, while observing COVID protocols – including receiving health declarations from participants and ensuring social distancing, hand hygiene and in-room cleaning throughout the program.

We will continue to monitor the COVID situation and hope that we do not need to move back online at any point in the near future, however we have responded to Job Rep feedback and will continue offering some of our scheduled education online.

Our schedule until the end of the year includes monthly metro Foundations and Keeping it Organised programs as well as a number of regional programs.

Job Rep Foundations

Our one-day Foundations program is free to Job Reps and aims to provide Job Reps with the essential tools and knowledge to perform their role. Register if you are a new Job Rep. This course is also recommended as a refresher for experienced Job Reps if you haven’t attended training for three or more years.

The metro course is running three more times in 2022:

  • 4 October
  • 9 November
  • 6 December

The regional course will run two more times in 2022:

  • 11 October in Ballarat
  • 22 November in Bendigo

Keeping it Organised

The aim of this two-day program is to focus on developing skills and strategies in progressing and resolving collective issues. The metro program is delivered across two standalone days, scheduled roughly four to eight weeks apart. Regional programs are delivered across two consecutive days.

There are two more metro courses in 2022:

  • 18 October & 15 November
  • 27 October & 30 November

There are two more regional courses in 2022:

  • 12 & 13 October, Ballarat
  • 23 & 24 November, Bendigo
