Chief Medical Officer to speak at ANMF OHS Conference

Chief Medical Officer Andrew Wilson

Chief Medical Officer Andrew Wilson, of Safer Care Victoria, will speak about infection control systems and what has been learned from the COVID-19 pandemic at the ANMF (Vic Branch) Occupational Health and Safety Conference.

Professor Wilson’s keynote presentation will also address why a systematic approach around infection control is vital to ensure the health and safety of workers.

A half-day online event to be streamed via Zoom, the conference will also feature keynote speaker Associate Professor Sharron O’Neill, from the Canberra School of Business/University of NSW on why reporting, transparency and capturing accurate data is vital for occupational health and safety.

The conference is aimed at nurses, midwives and personal care workers of all levels and attracts up to 3.5 hours of CPD required by the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia for registration renewal.
