ANMF (Vic Branch) have commenced claim development with school nursing members for the next Victorian Government Schools Agreement, with negotiations due to commence in mid-September.
ANMF industrial and professional staff are currently working with members to collate feedback on what members want to see in their new Enterprise Agreement.
After a largely successful bargaining campaign in 2022, ANMF members will be looking to further improve nursing-specific terms and conditions for school nurses and deliver fair wage increase outcomes, consistent with comparable public-sector nursing roles.
ANMF Job Reps will be attending a series of bargaining meetings with the Department of Education and Training, alongside the Australian Education Union (AEU) and the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU).
ANMF is also currently consulting with members employed as school nurses in Catholic schools to determine key priorities for bargaining.
Both the public and Catholic school agreements are due for renewal in early 2026.
