ANMF, HACSU and VHIA finalised drafting of the Victorian Public Sector Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement on Friday 14 November

ANMF, HACSU and VHIA finalised drafting of the Victorian Public Sector Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement on Friday 14 November

This means the approval process by Government is underway, in line with the usual approval process.

ANMF understands that although approval timeframes are difficult to predict, if the Government approve the draft agreement by early   December, a ballot of employees can occur prior to Christmas.

Following Government approval, ANMF will update members with the details of the ballot, including access period, the dates of the electronic ballot, and instructions on how to vote.
Parties have now finalised the data in the Schedule 10, which outlines the specific staffing profiles for nurses in bed-based services.

Correction

ANMF wish to advise that there was an error in the ANMF Allowance Table.

The table initially stated that the yearly allowance increase in 2028 would occur in January 2028, when it will occur on the first full pay period on or after 17 April 2028. This is an error, and the timing of the 2028 allowance increase remains consistent with the general nurses increases which will also be on the first full pay period on or after 17 April 2028.

The qualification allowance will have its 50% increase on the first full pay period on or after 1 May 2028.

Member’s meeting

ANMF will hold a delegates meeting in December. Statewide members meetings will be held with meeting notices to be issued once the voting dates are confirmed.

Members are encouraged email MHEBA2025@anmfvic.asn.au with any questions relating to the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028.

Forensicare

On Friday 14 November, ANMF were advised that an offer would not be provided until the second week of December due to delays with obtaining approval by government.

ANMF are disappointed by this further delay and have requested that an offer to be provided to members as soon as possible.

ANMF will update Forensicare members via a members meeting when an offer of settlement is delivered to parties.
