Nurses, midwives and personal care workers can apply to rent a new apartment in Alphington through Aware Super’s Essential Worker Affordable Housing program.
There are 100 essential worker affordable apartments at 80 per cent of the market rent in the new ‘Home by Caydon’ development located in the Yarra Bend precinct.
Aware says it is investing in cities where housing can be least affordable, that also have the potential for strong long-term investment.
The not-for-profit super fund has invested $1 billion to provide 1500 affordable apartments for key essential workers.
