Applications for the 2025 round of the ANMF (Vic Branch) course-fee grants are now being accepted. Successful applicants will receive up to $3000 per semester.
The Branch has been financially supporting members doing post-registration or postgraduate nursing or midwifery education since 2018. In that time, we have provided more than $5.8 million in financial assistance to thousands of our members undertaking study to advance their career and to improve direct clinical care.
You are eligible to apply for a grant if:
- you are undertaking post-registration or postgraduate nursing or midwifery education to advance your career and to improve direct clinical care
- you have been an ANMF (Vic Branch) member for at least two years – including as a student (including Diploma) or RUSON/M member
- and you continue to be a member throughout your course.
Preference will be given to the following specialities and areas of practice:
- perioperative or peri anaesthesia nursing
- palliative care nursing
- renal nursing
- critical care nursing (ICU/emergency/neonatal ICU)
- aged care
- postgraduate midwifery
- mental health nursing
Other specialities and areas of practice will also be considered.
Direct entry courses into nursing and midwifery will not be considered.
Applications close 11:59pm, Monday 18 August 2025
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by Friday 7 November 2025, with payment of the grant expected to be around mid-November.
