ANMF (Vic Branch) will launch the ‘Education Portal’ in November with more than 100 new online modules covering a wide range of clinical and patient, resident and client care topics suitable for nurses, midwives and personal care workers.
Members will be able to access the new modules with their annual $400 CPD online module credit* member benefit.
The Education Portal will replace the ANMF (Vic Branch) CPD Portal which was launched in 2014 to assist members meet their continuing professional development obligations for their annual AHPRA registration renewal.
The new portal will also provide better online learning functionality for students undertaking the ANMF (Vic Branch) Education Centre’s blended and online accredited courses (RTO 226909) and facilitated seminars and webinars.
Important information and dates for existing CPD Portal users
Your existing CPD Portal ePortfolio record will be preserved and securely transferred to the new site. This includes a list of your completed modules and data you have manually entered into the CPD Portal ePortfolio. It will not include certificates for online modules you have completed.
Friday 4 November – we recommend you don’t start a new online CPD Portal module as you may not have time to complete it before the CPD Portal closes on Wednesday 9 November.
Tuesday 8 November – complete any CPD Portal modules you have started by this date as your progress will not be preserved on the new site and you will need to start again. We recommend you save or print any CPD module certificates you wish to keep as they won’t be available on the new site.
Mid November – the new Education Portal will be live.

Member benefit – $400* CPD online module credit
When the Education Portal is launched in November all eligible* members will receive a renewed $400 online credit to access online modules. Credit is usually renewed every June, so this will mean all members can access the new modules even if they have spent their annual credit.
